Wrapper Contents
TTNCF (TTNCF3) is an ADDON to enable the TomTom Navigator SDK with the .NET CF!
The wrapper comes in form of two DLLs. The installation, integration and distribution is very easy.
TTNCF3 includes a detailed CF sample application with more than 2.300 lines of source code showing the main features of the wrapper.
The detailed documentation is based on the documentation of the TomTom Navigator SDK; so if you are familiar with the TomTom Navigator SKD you will already know what's where!
To use the wrapper in your .NET CF applications you only have to add a reference to the CF component and include a DLL in your project!

Examples of use
Since the .NET CF gives you power to easily access webservices and databases there are hundreds of thing possible with this wrapper and the TomTom Navigator!
  • List the customers of your database and add a "locate on map" or "navigate to" button in your application.
  • Update a customer record by adding a button "Assign current location to customer address".
  • Send traffic jam information to your fleet management system by typing an icon in the TomTom Navigator.
  • Display traffic information from a webservice on the active map.
  • Recalculate a route with avoiding areas loaded from a webservice.
  • Store track information in a database.
  • Display an icons on top of the Navigator when the user comes close to a location (Traffic cams, Company Sites, Customers..)
    And get a message when the user clicks on such an icon.
  • Display "Speed Limit" or "Time for a break" icons on top of the TomTom Navigator.
    And get a message when the user clicks on such an icon.
  • Build a layer between the GPS Device and the TomTom Navigator - to get all GPS information.
    Analyze them - or just store them in a file (DB) to get the GPS Data to your desktop PC.
